Indication:
Asthma, prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
Mode of Action:
↓ Effect of leukotrienes, which ↓ airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction.
Cautions:
Liver disease.
Indication:
Hepatotoxicity, Serious mental health side effects.
NC/PT:
Monitor liver enzymes. Take montelukast 2 hours before exercise.
