Indication:
Shock, severe hypotension.
Mode of Action:
Stimulates alpha1 sites (vasoconstriction), beta1 receptors (↑ cardiac output).

Indication:
Hypertension, arrhythmias. Digital necrosis with high doses.
NC/PT:
Closely monitor vital signs, EKG. When given for shock, correct hypovolemia before using vasopressors.
