Indication:
Hypertension, heart failure, MI, diabetic nephropathy.
Mode of Action:
Blocks conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, causing vasodilation.
Cautions:
Pregnancy.
Indication:
ACE: Angioedema, Cough, Elevated potassium, hypotension, dizziness, Fetal toxicity.
NC/PT:
Monitor BP and potassium levels. Change positions slowly.
