Parkinson’s disease to ↓ tremors and muscle rigidity.
Mode of Action:
↑ Dopamine in the CNS.

Dyskinesias (tics), orthostatic hypotension, dark urine and sweat, nausea/vomiting, psychosis.
NC/PT:
Avoid high protein meals as they ↓ the effectiveness of carbidopa/levodopa.
