Ototoxicity, vertigo, ataxia, Nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity.
NC/PT:
Monitor patients for tinnitus and hearing loss. Monitor kidney function (e.g., creatinine, BUN, urinalysis) and peak/trough blood levels. Administer IM or IV. Antibiotic considerations (card 22).
