Mode of Action:
Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis.

Indication:
GI upset, Hepatotoxicity.
NC/PT:
Administer acetylcysteine for overdose! Do not exceed 4 g/day. Read medication labels as many OTC medications contain acetaminophen. Acetaminophen does not decrease inflammation.
